- "Little Fuzzy" Coloring Book by Southern Lotus Coloring Book
- Ohuhu Markers (GY7, GY4, GY5, GY8)
- White Acrylic Pen (for highlights)
Step 1: Color the First Layer
Fill the entire grass area with GY7 to create a smooth, light green base. This base layer will help the grass strokes stand out and add depth to the final result.
Step 2: Draw Grass Blades with GY4
Using GY4, draw short grass blades by making a dot and quickly flicking the marker upwards. Vary the length and direction of the strokes to create a natural, wild grass look.
Step 3: Layer for 3D Effect
Repeat the flicking technique with GY5 and GY8, layering darker greens over the lighter base. This step adds dimension and makes the grass look more realistic and full of depth.
Step 4: Highlight with White Acrylic Pen
Use the white acrylic pen to add highlights to the grass blades. Apply the same flicking technique as before to create subtle, light-catching effects that enhance the 3D illusion.
Your grass now looks lush, textured, and incredibly realistic! This technique works beautifully as a background or as part of detailed nature scenes in the Southern Lotus Coloring Book.
