A galaxy sky can bring a magical and vast feel to your coloring pages! Today, we’ll be working on a page from the "Xmas Time" coloring book, to create a starry night sky with a beautiful gradient effect using Ohuhu Markers. Follow this step-by-step tutorial to achieve a breathtaking night sky with vibrant colors and sparkling stars!
- "Xmas Time" Coloring Book by Southern Lotus Coloring Book
- Ohuhu Markers (P5, R17, P4, P3)
- White Acrylic Pen (for stars and sparkles)
Step 1: Color the First Layer
Begin by applying P5 as the first layer to cover the top part of the sky. Use soft and even strokes to create a smooth foundation that represents the darkest part of the galaxy.
Step 2: Add the Second Layer with R17
Continue coloring below the P5 base using R17. Blend the colors gently at the intersection by softly layering one color over the other. This creates a seamless transition and starts building the gradient effect.
Step 3: Complete the Gradient with P4 and P3
Repeat the same process with P4 and P3, moving downward to cover the rest of the sky. Blend each layer into the previous one to achieve a smooth and dreamy gradient that mimics the vastness of the galaxy.
Step 4: Add Stars and Sparkles
Use a white acrylic pen to draw small dots and sparkles throughout the sky. Vary the size of the dots to create a natural starry effect and add a few larger sparkles to give the illusion of twinkling stars.
Your page now features a gorgeous galaxy sky that creates a magical and endless atmosphere. This technique is perfect for adding a cosmic vibe to your coloring pages and complements the charming designs in the Southern Lotus Coloring Book.
